This is an introduction to autism that aims to raise awareness among young non-autistic audiences, to stimulate understanding and acceptance in future generations. It underlines that autistic people aren neither ill nor broken. They are ordinary people with an extraordinary way of perceiving the world. Autistic or not, each one of us are a unique combination of habits, behaviors and idiosyncrasies that makes us who we are.
Alex is a Colombian born-British animator and director. After spending the first 5 years of his professional live doing print design and illustration, Alex moved to the United Kingdom in 2000 looking to expand his traditional animation skills at Central Saint Martins. That same year he was offered his first job as an animator at a design studio in Chelsea Harbour. Since then he’s made England his home where he now lives and works. Alex setup Studio Tinto in 2012 to facilitate the production of his own animated films.
