Doris’s mind is slipping… She is not only haunted by the death of her beloved husband James, but she is also struggling with the re-emergence of Ruth: Doris’s sinister alter-ego.
From 2004-2010, Chris Pender worked with Melbourne-based theatre company Fly-On-The-Wall as an actor and producer, appearing in and co-producing over twenty productions. In 2009, he appeared in and co-produced a low-budget indie feature called “The Dream Children” – which premiered at the 2015 Melbourne Queer Film Festival. From 2013-2016 Chris was a student at Swinburne University of Technology’s film and television department, with a focus on directing, producing, and writing – culminating with the completion of two graduate films: “Ruthless” (Director); “The Path to Success” (Producer); and an Honors film “Mind’s Eye” (Producer). He is currently a Director’s Attachment to a feature film, being shot in Australia in late 2017.
